Amid deteriorating conditions in some housing markets, Wachovia Corp. on Friday said it will change the way it evaluates potential mortgage borrowers, including requiring minimum credit scores and employment verification. The change, which starts April 26, applies to loans the Charlotte bank keeps in its own portfolio, including so-called Pick-A-Payment mortgages and fixed-rate "jumbo" ... There is no upper age limit set by HUD for the borrower. Nor is there a certain income level that the borrower must achieve in order to buy a home at a certain price. And although income is certainly an important factor, it is simply one of the several determining factors which are used by the HUD to find whether the borrower will be able to repay the mortgage....

It has no been a good year for Miami Condo Market, yes all signs point to nowhere, indeed a lot of reports has been made and the majority is that the market of condos have gone from boom to bust. Reality is that the big factor of the market is the overbuilding of the condos that plagued Miami, they are very well aware of the residential and housing bust and despite of that investors and developers still insist of a major building frenzy, you can see condo buildings everywhere and the fact that Does the lender make privately or federally insured or guaranteed loans? Some mortgage loans may be backed by a federal agency, such as the Federal Housing Administration (FHA loans) or the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA loans)....
